The Great Outdoors -

It has come to my attention that I've been on a blogging hiatus for far too long. :) It's never intentional, to be honest, but here we are anyway, 2 months later!

The kids and I spend nearly every day outdoors. Even on days with rain in the forecast, there's always some time in the day to squeeze in some outdoor play. Kiddie pool, water table, chalk, bubbles, playground, walks around the neighborhood.. that is what summers are made of. :) And, once Ryan gets my bike back up and running, (hopefully this weekend?) we'll be adding some bike rides on the W&OD trail to the mix.

We also went to the National Zoo two weeks ago, which the kids LOVED. I asked Brooke that morning what she wanted to see at the zoo, and she said, "Um.. crocodiles and fish!" Well, what do you know, they had both. :) The Reptile House was actually their favorite--full of crocodiles, sea turtles, snakes, frogs, and even fish. :) Here's a short little video from the Reptile House:



In these past two months we've had my birthday, Mother's Day, Ryan's birthday, Father's Day... so, I will share a few pictures.
